It's scary that a chapter of Turning Point on our college campus went from 60 members to 200 this last week. Democrats need to do something to counter this.

It’s not about the pardons themselves, he’s signalling that he’s got the back of anyone willing to do that BS again in 2026 & 2028 as long as he stays in power.
Pardoning your co-conspirators to own the libs!

Most of their charges are state charges, so this doesn’t actually help them. It’s gross, but it doesn’t really move the needle.

I want him and Jefferies and the rest of the feckless Democrats out. If you can't find the courage to vote against the Republicans, you have no place in our party.

Agreed. I don’t love closed primaries, but it seems even dumber for parties to let their opposite parties vote on their candidates
Hey, a lot of people are talking about changing affiliation from Democratic to Independent.

Let me tell you why you shouldn’t do that in Colorado.

One of the main ways to get a primary challenge candidate on a ballot is to caucus for your party. You need to be registered as a Dem to caucus.

This is the time when every American must face that one day their kids or grandkids, fellow Americans and the world will ask the question. What did you do through your actions or inactions that let evil happen. Resist✌️
Not many people are talking about the children being harmed by #ICELawlessness but it's important to talk about.

What's happening to these kids is being paid for by our tax dollars.

We're paying for the torture of children.

I know this is beyond grim, but we must let people know about this!

Unfathomable why Senate Democrats would vote to save Republicans from their own failures. Especially after a Democrat blowout election where even the orange turd said the shutdown was hurting the Republicans.
Dems backed Trump into a corner where he’s advocating for starving Americans and hemorrhaging support. If they vote to let him off the hook in exchange for nothing it’s a cataclysmic failure. I know people are in pain but insulating Republicans from political consequences is not the answer.

Too bad the senators and DNC folk didn’t get catch up to Bernie sooner. We certainly wouldn’t be here now.
"Chuck Schumer should go ... he's no longer capable of leading the Democratic Party."

"I am an establishment Democrat and I'm here to say that Bernie Sanders is much more in line with where I and many other Democrats are today than Chuck Schumer is."

every single Senator that doesn't vote for Schumer and Durbin to be stripped from leadership is complicit and should be primaried too

Add Schumer to this list. He got all the ones not running in the next election or that are retiring to vote yes. F*ck Schumer!
Tonight was a very bad night.

I called Murphy and asked to to hold a vote to expel Schumer. I hope people are leaving Sanders that message too. Schumer is actively against the will of the people.
Sanders: That is a totally meaningless gesture. You can get 100 votes here and it won't mean anything because the House is not going to take it up.

We cannot accept our country being run this way.

It is embarrassing and backwards.

Chris Murphy: "There will be pretty substantial damage to a Dem brand that has been rehabilitated if on the heels of an election in which the people told us to keep fighting, we immediately stop... if we surrender without having gotten anything, I worry it'll be hard to get them back up off the mat"

The elections were a referendum to keep up the fight!

Remember we don’t negotiate with terrorists!!

Why you'd you make a deal with Trump when hes impounded funding all year? This is insane. It is malpractice.
Dems have spent the past two months saying they're fighting to address the crisis of spiking healthcare costs and now they're caving for a deal that does nothing to address healthcare costs ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I will not vote again for any Democrat that supports screwing Americans over on their healthcare. Do not give in to the Republicans.
Sanders: Let’s be clear… If this vote succeeds, over 20 million Americans are going to see at least a doubling in their premiums… if resolution is passed tonight, we are on a path way to throw 15 million Americans off of medicaid and the affordable care act, 15 million.
