Paradise on Hulu is really worth your time. Enough mystery that it feels like escapism, but it’s also solid sci-fi — just enough plugged into the political sphere that the events seem like they could happen down the line. Ofc, Sterling K. Brown delivers, as always.

It will save you time and mental energy if you understand that a lot of white people don’t believe anything is racism unless the person doing it is wearing a shirt that says, “I am doing this for a racism.” Plausible deniability is a social survival tool for them in a way it has never been for us.

Saw a tiktoker say this, but it’s worth sharing here. If you are publicly commenting on media about the ICE raids/ mass deportation, do not say “I am worried about my friend, my neighbor, this area, this workplace, etc”. Your words are monitored- you might as well be calling ICE on them yourself.
