Star Trek Starfleet Academy, S1E1, “Kids These Days.” It ruled! 8/10. Great opening setup. Sandro Rosta has perfectly sculpted arms big as salmons 😳 Loved Holly Hunter’s activist mama bear energy in the captains / chancellor seat. USS Athena is beautiful! Familiar story kicks off, done well.

I ended up really loving Starfleet Academy ep 1! The start was a bit of a fakeout that immediately raised my hackles enough to immediately complain about it WHILE IT WAS STILL PLAYING LOL... but man did it turn out great! Needed that shot of optimism right now

Looks like our home galaxy but just a little weird! Anyway, I bet it's cool there.
A beautiful but skewed spiral galaxy in this NASA/ESA Hubble Space Telescope image. The galaxy, called Arp 184 or NGC 1961, sits about 190 million light-years away from Earth in the constellation Camelopardalis (the Giraffe).
