Working on my socks. Stripes with some lacey type stitches, because why not they are MINE. There was no pattern. They are customized 20 ways to hell and back. Doing them “two at a time” on separate DPN sets, going between them by section or row as needed.

The Dude hat for hubby is wrapped, back to my socks. I am past the yarn break of the puppy vs. self-striping yarn, and the striping is matching nicely. Going to the Stitch rescue hour tomorrow to have a knitting guru tell me what 2@Atime sleeve methods I was using 2 or 3yrs ago when I left off.

Hey folks - if you want to gift some charity dough for Christmas, yo… you can’t do much better than the folks who are protecting your freedom, privacy, and rights.

If refusing to comment is enough to kill a story, then the government now has veto power over journalism.
That’s what CBS normalized last night — and it should scare everyone.

Pulling a finished investigation because the administration refused to comment isn’t journalism. It’s submission.

I fell off a ladder in August. The bill for the 1.7 mile ambulance ride is $4387.31.

Our $4500 per MONTH Cigna insurance won’t pay more than $600, because the ambulance is out of network.

There are no in-network ambulances in our county, and I was unconscious when it was called.

The Dude hat for hubby dude is cast off. Didn’t like the pattern’s crown design so I re-designed it, frogged it back, and redid it. Now I have to weave in all the goldarn ends and do a bit of blocking.

Conservatives can never again call themselves the party of small government. This is surveillance in depth, Big Brother.
WOW. @haleaziz.bsky.social with a new scoop: ICE now gets a running list of every person who is going to be taking a domestic flight inside the United States from the TSA and runs it through their database looking for targets. This explains the Babson College student's arrest.

At around 17m. Yes. None of what’s happening is American or conservative. When T saying he wants rule of law = “My word is law. I am the Party. Party rules.” His camp is so desperate to straight up use the Xi/CN/CCP playbook. Also he needs to be 25th’ed. He’s not running the show. Miller & Vogt are.

Warrants ignored. People detained without cause. Masked agents in unmarked cars. That’s not justice — it echoes the playbook of secret police.

Looking for an *L.A. based* artist who (against all odds) has time for a poster gig before the end of the year.

It's for a science + art event.

We can offer $500 for the gig.

Dreadfully sorry about the timeline. Link a portfolio if you're interested, I'll delete this post when we found someone.

Democrats would be crazy not to make this comment super-famous tomorrow when the Senate debates health care. Republicans don’t want you to be cared for as a patient when you’re sick. They think of you as a “consumer”—and tough luck if you don’t have the money for the care you need.
Roger Marshall: "We want patients to become consumers again. We want patients to see what the actual prices are. We believe that if we would add the price tags to this bill, that it would save the country a trillion dollars a year."
