Sinclair is why I stopped tuning into KOMO-TV years before I 'cut the cord'. Their "Seattle is Dying" shite is proof their KOMO 4 news doesn't hold a candle to KING 5 news and fails this city.
KOMO won’t air return of Jimmy Kimmel’s show in Seattle, owners say
Sinclair-affiliated ABC stations won’t air the return of “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” Among them is KOMO in Seattle and KATU in Oregon.

Add to that, for years I worked in dental offices where one of my duties was insurance billing. After taking seminars on collecting from insurance companies, I learned that maximums haven't increased since the 1970s! I can attest that "usual and customary" amounts havent much increased in 25 years.
I have dental insurance. Why do I pay so much for care?
Imagine you go to the dentist with an achy tooth. They say you need a root canal and a crown, costing around $3,000.

I have to disagree with one point and that's the opinion customers need to get out the moment they're finished eating. If I want a cup of coffee or digestif after dessert, I'm going to have one. www.seattletimes.com/life/food-dr...

I actually love the Big Dark, but to start talking about it now, more than a week before the autumnal equinox, is so irksome. It's like coming across Halloween decorations before Labor Day. Let us enjoy the last of astronomical summer.
Washingtonians, brace yourselves: The 'Big Dark' is around the corner
The rate at which we lose daylight in Washington state is faster in September and October than at any other time of year.

The government absolutely should not be run as though it were a business, and not just because businesses are not "of the people, by the people, for the people"
Schools. Parks. Libraries. Roads. Mail delivery...

These are provided by our government. They're paid for by the public and are available to everyone.

What happens to these public goods when you try to "run the government like a business"? Privatization. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hqn1uD_B70U

Colorado passed a bill protecting trans people in public spaces.

Some pastors responded by spreading lies, deadnaming lawmakers, and cosplaying as martyrs.

It’s all performative. And here’s the proof.

Colorado passed a law to protect trans people. These pastors repeatedly lied about it.
HB 25-1312 targets discrimination in public spaces, not pulpits, but that didn’t stop evangelical Christian pastors from spreading lies

He’s selling the Office of the Presidency to line his pockets.

This is pay-for-play corruption.

Per usual, the GOP sits silent.

Trump to dine with top meme coin holders, shrugging off ethics concerns
White House officials have argued the dinner poses no conflict of interest because the president's assets are in a blind trust managed by his adult sons.

The Trump administration’s attacks on civil liberties aren’t just dystopian—they’re legally illiterate. And they reveal a basic contempt for what truly makes America great. I wrote about why:

This really is a point that cannot be argued with.
Biden’s alleged health coverup isn’t new. FDR’s paralysis was hidden, Wilson had a stroke and his wife ran the show, JFK had Addison’s, Reagan showed early decline, Trump nearly died of COVID. It’s not about honesty, it’s about stability. If the world thinks the president’s unfit, chaos follows.

It seems that Trump wants a recession. Why?

A recession will drive down the prices of real estate, companies, and shares of stock.

Trump and his fellow billionaires want to buy up everything on the cheap and then enjoy the ride upward — no matter the cost to working people.

OMG. I was wondering that as the tariff numbers made no sense, but this is even dumber than I thought. I mean, this is "fail your econ 101 class and have to go meet with the professor" bad.

Ms. Reed makes a most excellent point! 👈
Anyone find it funny how when the UK releases the Cass review to ban trans care, we get everything ranging from New York Times push notifs to op-eds in every major US paper...

But when Germany, Switzerland, and Austria release pro-trans youth care guidelines, not a single article anywhere but mine?
1. Major news in transgender care.

Germany, Switzerland, and Austria have just released their trans youth care guidelines.

They strongly recommend trans youth care and slam the
Cass Review in England.

Europe is not "pulling back" on trans care.
