March 2024, my Dad ended up in hospital with antibiotic resistant sepsis. He was there until late April, and only survived thanks to the amazing team at LKH Villach. There were many things that terrified me during that period, but an impending nightmarish hospital bill was not one of them. 1/

I needed a copy of my parents' marriage certificate for bureaucratic reasons, and because it was so long ago, I had to request a copy from the National Archives in Sweden. It just arrived in Atlanta. They got married 50 years ago last month ♥️
