Please don’t think this beltway game of having retiring Dem senators vote yes while everyone else votes no is going to shield leadership from the end result. We see what is happening and can’t be fooled by those games.

They caved in March so they could get a better deal now. They’re caving now so they can get a better deal in some indeterminate future. The better deal is always just beyond their reach, but continuing to cave will get them there. And if you don’t agree with that, you don’t understand Politics,

How about we shut down the government for this very popular and specific goal and then, hear me out, we hold out for like a month and a half and then, ok this part is important, after a watershed election where we ran the table, ONLY THEN, fold and don't get the one thing we said we wanted.

I’m a Philly guy rooting for Toronto in this Series, but have no issue with the Dodgers winning. They got timely hits and made the plays when they needed to. Plus they rep a beleaguered city whose inhabitants deserve a good time.

This didn't occur to me until after Halloween, but what if the teenager not wearing a costume was actually a ghost in the costume of a teenager?

Everyone gets candy.

A kid ate Doritos at his high school and an AI-powered gun-detection system mistakenly flagged the bag of chips as a weapon.

Police were called and when they showed up, they pointed guns (real ones) at the student. www.thebanner.com/education/k-...

The wins just keep on coming. I ordered a wreath frame from Michael's and the genius who packaged it bent it to fit in the box.

I used instacart for the first time in a long time. Tried ordering a 15lb bag of rice that cost $16. The shopper replaced it with a 4lb bag and instacart charged me $80 for it.

But it's okay because I can have them credit my account with that $80. Like I'd ever use instacart again after that. 🙄

I'm in favor of conservatives reading the Bible. I can't wait until they get to the parts with Jesus.

(And maybe eventually even to the part where it says no one knows when the rapture will be)

Conceptually having a substitution option when ordering groceries makes sense.

Unfortunately, if you're shopping at Costco, it's just a waste of time having to go through every item to turn it off.
