I write for Warhammer Community, and I also do other things.

All views my own, naturally.

Now that this place is gathering speed, it feels like time for proper intro.

I’m Luke, I write articles for Warhammer Community, and I paint a little too.

I’ve got a greyhound called Daisy, she’s daft. I also love music and manga.

Looking forward to meeting new folk on a chill new platform.

After maybe 15 months (!) of sporadic effort, I’ve finally finished painting Abraxia and her entourage. I wrote the novel faster.

Ripped through a bunch of final act bosses in Silksong this morning. Two of them went down fist try. I think not being frustrated or panicking is the answer to a lot of the tougher fights, they usually don’t have many moves to deal with!

I don’t have any new updates on what i’m working on to share (taking some much needed R&R over the break - Archon is on pause) but I do have news.

I’ll be joining the ’Eavy Metal as a trainee early in the new year. Fun but tough times ahead for 2026!

Very one is doing a 2025 wrap up, but the year was largely rubbish and marred by the death of my greyhound Daisy.

We can move swiftly on to 2026 and all the new beginnings it has in store.

Bought myself Silksong in Christmas day, an I’m currently winding my way to the third melody.

All I have to say is this:

Trobbio!

If you pay attention to any large industry long enough and follow it to its logical conclusion you eventually end up sounding like a communist even if you started off testing CPU case fans. youtu.be/cUrJVdF2me0?...

say what you will about Andrew Tate, but his decision to not have a chin likely saved his life in that fight. Just one of those uppercuts would've killed Bruce Campbell.

Really good video here on the Xbox boycott part of BDS.

Don’t fall for the “they’re a failed company” rhetoric some peddle either, the BDS boycott fully extends to Microsoft too.

Listen to BPP, and join the Discord where we get together to do stuff like this in order to pay penance for the rest of our collective sins…
Our Discorders answered the question, 'what if the games of 2025 were Simpsons stills?' Judge the results for yourself.

I’m very much enjoying Puribus and quite confused by the large swell
of commenters complaining that’s it’s “slow”.

It’s exploring every crevice and device its well-trod scenario can offer. A richer text than Severance despite feeling innately more familiar.

Finished Crow Country today over lunch. Wonderful little game that feels like a playful homage to the original Resident Evil. The plot also has a nice little wrinkle towards the end that reminds me of the Junji Ito story Black Paradox.
