I suppose this is ultimately a question about ceding creative ownership, or fiscal justification, but it would be fascinating to see different regional developers adapt Blue Prince and create a little universe of variants with different puzzles and alternate approaches.

There aren't a bunch of headlines about how people are "divided!!!" on del Toro's Frankenstein, but I'm seeing divergent reviews and essays posted on it almost every day. That's a pretty good sign, I think.
