We’re not going to “fix the Democrats’ brand” by doing TikToks or launching pods. The brand is a direct reflection of our elected officials. If we want to purge our weak branding, we have to purge the weak Dems. I’m looking forward to a robust primary cycle and new Democrats who know how to fight.

Chatbots — LLMs — do not know facts and are not designed to be able to accurately answer factual questions. They are designed to find and mimic patterns of words, probabilistically. When they’re “right” it’s because correct things are often written down, so those patterns are frequent. That’s all.

With a few notable exceptions among you, I suspect you (yes! you!!) simply do not know enough about eels.
Not because there is a great eel quiz at the end of it all, no no.
But because eel facts, that you can scratch to reveal, bring joy. We need more joy. Badly.
Get eel facts.

Under this, I have never earned enough money for indefinite leave to remain any year in my life. Like, wtf? How can you possibly say ILR people need to constantly earn *that much* money.
Migration makes our country stronger, full stop.

If *any* dependent receives *any* form of social protection at any point, you lose your legal status, as drafted. It is sloppy, mad & ludicrously extreme all at once

Plus 1 to this, my home fen is very different to Sophie's & a very common frustration I have that all fen is lumped together!
Hi James. It is impossible, I think, to encapsulate the experience of roughly 2000 years of Fen culture into a single term. Even now, the fenlanders of Boston consider those of Whittlesey to be completely different and Black Fen to be entirely alien! (1/2)

& in fact the UK has the lowest share of its economy estimated as irregular economy in Europe so if it fixes the issue WHY DIDNT IT FIX IT THERE?

I’m back to tell you 3 things about ID cards:
1. Migrants ALREADY HAVE biometric ID cards & govts have been trying to digitise them for years w repeated fuckups & failures causing complete chaos - they don’t work, you do not want that system for you.

Reality:
The average migrant on the Skilled Worker visa had a net fiscal impact of +£16,300 in 2022/23. In contrast, the average UK-born adult had about +£800

Tried to listen to it once, had to stop because the pro-British blinkers were too huge and hugely annoying. Neither of them is an actual historian, just some guys who reckon they know a thing or two.
