One would have thought that members of the Watson club would learn from their past mistakes (in the case of Tierney, mistakes include corruption charge). But here they are again doing the bidding of the mayor and blaming downtown councillors. Simply pathetic.

1. Two decades ago, a friend was a teaching assistant in a method course at UofT. A student came to see him because there was something wrong. Analysing the CES data, they found that Quebec was not more anti-immigration than other provinces. The student wanted to know where they had made a mistake.
Anglophones have becomes much more anti-immigrant than francophones. Quebec is now the least anti-immigrant province.

Stephen Miller’s ancestors were Jewish refugees from the pogroms in czarist Russia. They came to the U.S. in the early twentieth century, even as racists said this same stuff about them.
Stephen Miller is now arguing that assimilation is fundamentally impossible and that certain cultures are not compatible with Western civilization
