4. I read Stéphanie Plante 's justification for supporting the plan (stephanieplante.ca/fr/landsdown...). It is a rather disappointing document that mostly encourage readers to... read the justification of another councillor and provide a few youtube links. Rideau-Vanier deserves better.

3. Other urban councillors supported Vanier and opposed the project. It was ultimately adopted because of suburban/rural councillors. To see today the representative of Vanier voting today with these people to impose another ill-conceived project on the downtown core is deeply frustrating.

2. When the city adopted to short-sighted plan to build a new Salvation Army shelter in Vanier, the community came together to oppose an outdated model and propose a new approach (housing first) when it comes to the fight against homelesness.
