I was talking to someone about this the other day, and this came up. Broadcast licensing agreements are not subject to the censorship of the originating country. Over the decades, we've seen a lot of programming that the country which produced it did not, at least not right away.

I would think that, if nothing else did it, that would. It is very difficult to be chummy with someone when you're OK with having them harmed or worse in order to protect someone (Trump, obviously).
