The Hoxton East LTN consultation report has been released.

TL;DR is that the local community says "Yes please".

The scheme involves a bus gate on Hoxton St and traffic filters on Stanway/Fanshaw Streets, & a new School Street.

After 2+ years of legal battles, the Court of Appeal has ruled in our favour.

Cycling in Hackney could see another step change with this new announcement - Lime & Voi bikes reducing their prices for journeys within the borough. £1.75 for a 30min ride (same as a bus fare) and Lime offering unltd monthly pass for £45 which caps rides at £1

The Chatsworth Road Sunday market will be pedestrianised from this Sunday 24th.

The one-way bus gate and other road changes are coming this autumn, but its good to see the famous Sunday market will be traffic free from now on

Consultation on the proposed Dalston liveable neighbourhood closes on 24th August. We pointed out to the council the potential rat run they missed via Montague Rd which they have promised to solve. Positive feedback to the council is needed!
