Please no AI 'created' images/video -- I get that its involved in cameras and post production... Photographer (non human and human people). Book lover (and reader). Art lover (and collector). Anti capitalist and anti fascist (redundant that bit, I know).
#birdoftheday also includes birds on a #post. A GBH on a post in one of the marsh ponds #Toronto 's Leslie St. Spit, 2023.

#birdoftheday is #swans A couple of Trumpeter Swan cygnets. Lake Ontario, 2024. There were a couple of families moving together; six or seven cygnets; too long lens to get anything but closeups -- not the usual 'problem' photoing birds :)

Good morning, the #BirdOfTheDay theme today is paddling birds standing or walking in shallow water. Here a North American Coot shows off her ever so odd made for walking on land as well as paddling in the water feet. Lois Hole Park, Alberta 2020.

Capitalism works just fine; its objectives and values are supreme over all others.
What doesn't work, at all -- re having a civil, just and kind, healthy shared society -- is Capitalism as the working model of governance that it now most assuredly has become.
Fuck Capitalism.

My favourite shot of my visit to The Royal, yesterday. I love photos that tell a story; and I shoot far too few of them.
For the record, the goats, horses and cattle I saw were far (far!) better groomed than was (am?) I 😂
Been too long; forgot how much I love ag fairs.

For @karenbdc.bsky.social A fellow lover of goats.
Goats are the GOAT. Royal Winter Fair, Toronto.
Playing with my new Nikon Zf camera yesterday, so was sought out some gorgeous models.

Her answer is spectacular, but I would have still gone with, "If I thought you were physiologically able to do so, I'd tell you, Harry, to go fuck yourself."

The 21-gun-salute-riflemen at Dick Cheney's funeral will use 28-gauge shotguns and fire them into the faces and chests of mourners.

Happy to see this guy eating a walnut in a tree a few feet from my balcony, rather than digging holes in my balcony garden containers to bury them, which he does, a lot. :)

Gee, it's almost as if judicial/court rulings/orders carry no weight at all in the fallen American Empire....

Not sure this qualifies for #birdoftheday #OddAngles, maybe more accurately bird leg at odd angles? Trumpeter Swan. Kept the leg like this long enough I began to wonder if there was an injury, but then she waddled away on both legs and all was good :)

Yah, 'cause court decisions are really having actual consequences in the matter of the failed American Empire.
