I’ve played a couple of matches of 5v5 Highguard and it’s a huge improvement. Game still has some performance issues, spectating needs a 1st person mode, and the character design still ain’t it, but as far as playing goes it fixes a lot of problems. Hope they keep it around.

The FM stands for Fujistu Micro rather than anything to do with sound (as I once thought it might). Fujitsu had a tradition of code-naming PC projects after Nobel Prize-winning physicists, so the Towns part refers to Charles Townes.

Yeah I need more time on this to get a good impression. I def think with a full party it is a lot more fun. Problem is, that is the same issue Apex has. Having to find 3 people who like the same game as you, and can play the same time with you, is a pain.

man so far the call to be 3v3 seems like a huge mistake. this map is too big and too sparse at the same time. huge map with barely anything in it. zero reason to engage prior to the shield breaker spawning. idk why this isn't 6v6 or larger.
