Ashes of Creation is no longer available to purchase on Steam, but I will note that the in-game store is still very much active. So there's that.

We've updated our article with Theory Forge's reporting of the WARN Act notice reportedly sent to all Ashes of Creation employees, which states that Intrepid undertaking an "entire and permanent plant closing within the meaning of the WARN Act by close of business on February 2nd, 2026"
I daresay this was not on any of our Saturday night bingo cards. My heart goes out to those affected by this decision and, hopefully, something can be salvaged here.
