If you make 130% of the federal poverty level, you qualify for SNAP.
A family of four, making $40,560, qualifies for SNAP benefits meaning thousands of Missouri teachers qualify.
I’m tired of the bullshit. Most of the people who receive snap benefits work.

Bezos is worth over $400 billion, many Amazon employees require SNAP.
The people who need help are not the problem.
It’s corporate greed. It’s an unwillingness to pay a living wage.

Absolutely. Get rid of the passive voice. @nytimes.com you should know better.
Enough with the passive constructions. When authorities shoot people, say so. This New York Times headline could have easily said,
“Coast Guard Police Shoot 2 People at Protest Site Outside Base in California.”
