Like all the people who still hang out with Scott Ritter because "he was set up for challenging power" or some such excuse.
I don't understand this mealy-mouthed "Chomsky means so much and his writing has done so much good, and yes, we need to call attention to his error in judgment" -- no, he hung out with people he knew were raping and trafficking children. Doesn't need nuance. It really doesn't.
