I think she just sees what the dating pool looks like at her HS and her primary response is, "um, no".

Sadly, the vocal minority of people using anti AI as a way to launder their reputation (of previously being numbskulls, pro AI, and/or bullies & abusers) have arrived because in science it's shifted to uncool to be pro AI. Nothing new here; a pattern we all know, but it's started in this space too.
