House Sparrows live here year round and they often nest in our yard. They are wonderful parents and are constantly hunting bugs to feed their babies. This female paused a moment while looking for bugs in the flowering apple tree!

A few images of my beautiful chance encounter this morning. I’ve cropped in on that eye to show the nictitating membrane in better detail. Normally they fly off as soon as I spot them, but this one sat a good while before I left it in peace. #birds

I snapped this one in Death Valley National Park in a Joshua Tree forest called Lee Flat in September. I'm still a ways from where I'd like to be in the Astrophotography world but I'm pretty motivated to get it down. Photos aside, just being out there under those skies is life-changing! #photography

The flagshaggers who've been hanging around the countries lampposts flying their cheap flags now have an opportunity to show true 'patriotism' by stepping forward. I'm sure the Frog Faced Fuhrer & Tiny Tommy Two-Names will be at the front of the queue..to leave for the closest safe country
