My mom wanted to get toilets with higher seats, but my dad didn’t want them. So mom got add-ons. Now she needs the hand bars to get up (from any seat).

We have grab bars, raised seat on toilet (it’s easily removable), and mom has a raised seat with bars on the side. The raised seat makes a difference to getting up. Really helps on bad knee days. Sigh.

I remember one year with figure skating, many moons ago, I think the women were falling. I think the top skater (among those expected to do well) was the one who fell the least. It was insane. The pressure must be brutal.

I hate that so much.

Sometimes treating the symptoms is the best thing to do.

I thought about doing that the other day.

No, that’s not the case at all. I haven’t read many trad-style romances over the last several years. A few here and there, and definitely some paranormal/urban fantasy types. But I backed away from millionaire/billionaire romances a while ago. I wasn’t sure the guy would have time for a love life!

It’s easier if people don’t have a choice or the situation is different. It’s hard to think of billionaires or modern-day royalty the same way we used to accept or ignore their existence in romance.

I remember when they used to be millionaires. And I didn’t know as much about CEOs.

I have no idea, but if so, they’re really fantasy now. Or alternate world, at least.

I was thinking back when you scheduled your hair appointment.

I was looking at Peacock, early on, and had a hard time tying to figure it out. I discovered if I tried to watch the recorded skating, I had to watch over 2-1/2 hours, and that was a bit much.

I cannot imagine trying to get four cats to the vet. I don’t know if my mom ever tried to wrangle all three at once. Two were hard enough.

I’m glad you brought all four home with you.

No way to avoid it, unless you didn’t schedule anything at all during the Olympics. I’m not sure when the schedule goes out, but it’s not always clear what to watch that far in advance.

I haven’t watched anything live. Now I’m not sure I’m up for skating.

Busy weekend, too.

He has searched legal arguments?!

I love how he blames the American people for wanting what he wants.

Hi, have you applied moisturizer to your skin recently? Winter can lead to painful itching and cracking. I like Cetaphil moisturizing cream and Aquaphor, but @jamellebouie.net also recommended cocoa and shea butter.

Maybe I’ll start there. I probably had an idea where to start, once upon a time.

I can’t believe I found the original recommendation email (from a mailing list). Only about two-and-a-half years ago, so not too bad.

She has not been charged with a crime.

We’re officially cancelling the “guilty” part of guilty pleasures. Do not feel guilty about that cringy early 2000’s TV comfort show. Do not feel guilty about that spicy book. Do not feel guilty about that smooth smooth yacht rock or that 90s sitcom with 127 episodes a season. You’ve all earned it.
