'These essays provide fascinating insights into the diversity of gender identities and the operation of gender as an intersectional category in the construction of Welsh identity.'

A brilliant review by Kirsti Bohata of 'Gender in Modern Welsh History' in the latest issue of ‘History’.

It's been years of work, but I'm proud of this one. I hope #earlymodern #skystorians enjoy it!

RIP little fella.

This is Gatsby. He was killed yesterday by a hit-and-run driver tearing through our village, which has no pavements and which, bizarrely, has not seen a reduction to 20mph like most such roads in Wales.

He was only four, a quirky bugger, and we loved him. 😢🐶

“Nothing is more remarkable in the Whigs than their unparallel’d impudence in lying. They will positively affirm the most unheard of absurdities in reason, and the most notorious falsehoods in fact; especially in matters of calumny and slander” (Joseph Trapp, 1712).

Remind you of anyone?
