For those of you who don't know, author @sarahkendzior.bsky.social coined "transnational crime syndicate masquerading as a government" in her 2020 book, "Hiding in Plain Sight: The Invention of Donald Trump and the Erosion of America"

It's a powerful read, as are all of Sarah's works. Buy/Read.

Journalist Mario Guevara has been detained for 100+ days, ironically arrested as he reported on a "No Kings" protest.

The Trump-Vance admin just issued an order of final removal, to send him to El Salvador—where he fled from 21 years ago.

Just looked up out of curiosity and turns out I was on Charlie Kirk’s Professor Watchlist. Am I supposed to mourn the person who spent the last six years trying to end my academic career? He wouldn’t mourn my death: he tried to accelerate my death! www.professorwatchlist.org/professor/st...

Kirk is their Rosa Parks.
I am genuinely confused by all this pageantry. He was not an elected official. I cannot think of another time a regular citizen being killed garnered this response. It’s perverse.
