Years ago, before Qatar was doing golf course and airplane deals with Trump, they were being blockaded until they agreed to bail out Jared Kushner’s real estate company. (The Saudis got nuclear reactors for running the blockade.)

Glad they’re all friends now.
It’s also very likely that the US-backed Saudi blockade of Qatar was retribution for Qatar not buying 666 5th Ave from Jared Kushner (Kushner was ultimately bailed out by a Qatar-backed fund.) So that would be another $1.2 billion. www.theguardian.com/us-news/2022...

i believe in confiscatory policy targeting assets of every single person with the trump surname not because i think we can use it to pay for healthcare or pay down the debt or whatever, but because they stole it and it doesn’t belong to them
