Sometimes resistance is easy! This weekend it means NOT shopping at Target, Amazon, and Home Depot. 🚫💪🦃
A grassroots movement is calling on all Americans to abstain from shopping at Target, Amazon, and Home Depot during the holiday weekend over their support for Trump's authoritarian policies.

I encourage you to join — and shop small. https://weaintbuyingit.com/

*NOT an immigration judge, a deportation judge. 🤦‍♀️
The official Department of Justice recruitment page is saying the quiet part out loud: they don’t care about law, they only care about deportations. Flagrant. False. Possibly illegal. This is why many of us have advocated for an independent immigration court for years.

More than charming, this is humble, relatable, and honest. A combination that I wish we saw a whole hell of a lot more of in our elected officials.
completely outside of politics, this is so charming

AG James for the win, again. Thank you for standing up to this administration.💪👏💪 @newyorkstateag.bsky.social
We won our lawsuit against the Trump administration, preventing them from dismantling federal agencies that provide services and funding for libraries, museums, workers, small businesses, and the unhoused.

We will always defend the basic services that New Yorkers depend on.

I've had a missile blow up next to my airplane, been shot at dozens of times by anti-aircraft fire, and launched into orbit — all for my country. I never thought I'd see a President call for my execution.

Trump doesn’t understand the Constitution, and we're all less safe for it.

This is an important part of the resistance.
Wow! Senators Kelly and Slotkin and Reps DeLuzio, Goodlander, Houlahan, and Crow encouraging members of the military to defy illegal orders!

Is Donald Trump's ballroom really a pay-to-play scheme to score political favors?

This looks like bribery in plain sight. My new bill will put an end to it.

This is happening with AI right now. It seems like such a chore to click through the links that search engines provide, so taking the AI generated answer as fact without putting in any effort to confirm its truth at all has become the norm. Wake up people!

It’s a concept of a plan. 😂
This entire article points out that there is no plan. His own Treasury Secretary says he doesn’t know anything about it. So why does media keep running these kind of headlines? He keeps making these Truth Social posts and media keeps running stories as if it is something real.

“Trump break silence” is an oxymoron. The man is NEVER silent. A correct headline would be “Trump pivots erratically from spewing total nonsense to speaking about something tethered to reality.”

Shrewd comparison by Mike Johnson of SNAP benefits not being funded during this Trump shut down and a military memorial being closed to visitors during the shutdown of the Obama administration. Definitely the same thing. 🤦‍♀️
Q: In the last Trump shutdown, he made sure SNAP benefits went out. Why do you think he shouldn't do that this time?

MIKE JOHNSON: The president has done exactly what he did in the first term, and that is bend over backward to make sure we mitigate the harm. The money doesn't exist to do it.

Now the Trump Admin is attempting to gut this critical program.

Proud to support the effort to stop these unlawful and reckless cuts.
