The thousands of WASPI women in my constituency impacted by the changes to the state pension age and across the country have waited too long for justice. So I welcome the news that the Government is going to consider more evidence.

@eddavey.libdems.org.uk is absolutely right - this escalation in the assault on the BBC should be incredibly alarming to anyone who cares about truth, accountability and democracy. www.theguardian.com/commentisfre...
The first step towards saving our precious BBC: remove Robbie Gibb from the board | Ed Davey
The BBC belongs to all of us, and it is under attack as never before. The government must defend it from its enemies, within and without, says Liberal Democrat leader Ed Davey

I’ve written to Keir Starmer, Kemi Badenoch and Nigel Farage urging them to condemn Donald Trump’s attack on the BBC.

The BBC belongs to Britain, not Trump. We must defend it together.

The resignations of Tim Davie and Deborah Turness must be an opportunity for the BBC to turn a new leaf, rebuild trust and resist those like Nigel Farage who want to destroy it

We must stand up for a strong, independent BBC, to stop Trump’s America becoming Farage's Britain.

This Remembrance Sunday, we remember all those who made the ultimate sacrifice. We pay tribute to them and all the veterans and serving personnel who continue to protect our freedom.

It's right Andrew Mountbatten Windsor appears before US Congress over his links to Epstein and his victims.

He should also give evidence to our Parliament. The public deserve answers and full transparency about this scandal.

Thank you to @lizjarvis.bsky.social MP for standing up for our sector. 📣

Ahead of the Budget it's important for the government to recognise the irreplaceable role of the pub for high streets up-and-down the country, including Liz's constituency of Eastleigh.

At the debate on supporting our high streets I urged the Government to take action to revive our high streets, restore pride in our towns and put small businesses at the centre of Britain’s economic recovery. Reform didn’t even bother to show up to the debate.

Ahead of Remembrance Day it was an honour to plant a poppy in the Speaker’s Constituency Garden at Westminster for all those from Eastleigh who served and who continue to serve. Lest we forget.

Today my thoughts are with everyone affected by the dreadful attack near Huntingdon - the victims, their loved ones, and everyone who witnessed it. We're all hoping those injured make a full recovery.

Grateful to the passengers and emergency services who showed such bravery.

Any politician trying to use last night’s awful events to stoke hatred and division should be ashamed.

Deeply shocked and saddened by the horrendous incident on the train near Huntingdon. All thoughts with the victims and their loved ones and the other passengers who were on board, the emergency services, British Transport Police, local police and hospital staff.

The King is absolutely right to strip Prince Andrew of both his titles and his residence at the Royal Lodge.

It’s clear that Andrew's position had become totally untenable, having disgraced his office and embarrassed the country.

On Tuesday evening I was honoured to hold a debate on Support for Disabled Veterans in the House of Commons. Our disabled veterans deserve our gratitude and respect. They should not have to fight for support and care.

We just defeated Nigel Farage’s Bill in Parliament to tear up people’s rights and withdraw from the ECHR.

Farage wants to do away with the Britain Churchill built and turn it into a version of Trump's America. We stopped him.

If Sarah Pochin doesn’t lose the whip we can only assume her disgraceful racist comments are endorsed by her party. And if diversity on TV is really driving her “mad”, maybe she could try educating herself on why it matters - and why her language was completely inappropriate for an MP.
