Some large comic creators talked about not writing superhero comics now bc this proved to them they couldn’t exist, but capes were never about most people being good, but a few figuring out how to fight

I cannot emphasize enough that if you feel like everything is totally hopeless and fucked right now- that staying alive is enough at this moment- if that's all you have energy for. Take a day, take a week, grieve. Then sit down, gather your bearings & do what you need to do to keep moving forward.
