Yeah I mean, emotionally heathy people don't typically want to provide quote material for the engagement engine of a medium that's in perpetual culture wars full of children with too much time on their hands, the mentally ill, and grifters.

What's the benefit?

It's just stress Russian Roulette.
an annoying problem the games industry has is that absolutely no one wants to give a quote about anything other than the game they are currently promoting.

Because itch.io is by far the best store out there for game developers, and also players imo, and has been given a hard time lately, I just put my game InFlux Redux on there, and upped itch's rev share to 30%. I want 'em to have a little walkin' around money impromptu-games.itch.io/influx-redux

Man, regardless of how the game was received, I'm damn happy with the work I put into Phantom Fury.

Are there things I would do differently now? Absolutely! I got a better understanding of Unreal's workflow over time but even my earliest work was dressed up and lit by some CRAZY talented folks. <3

I just released a new tool: a "texture browser" for UE5.5 that presents materials as square thumbnails instead of spheres. Like a 90s texture browser. Much better for level designin'. Has favourite searches, quick access to recently-used materials, etc.
