This is an interesting study but historians came to this same conclusion a decade or more ago.
Climate data offers clues to what might have happened to people of the Indus River Valley during the civilization’s existence between 3000 and 1000 B.C. and how that might relate to our own warming world.
Scientists may have solved why this ancient, advanced civilization vanished

This is why I have answered the smug question "When did the French ever win a battle?" with "Yorktown."
Trump/Hillsdale make the central drama of their series about how "a small rag-tag army defeat[ed] the mightiest empire in the world." No mention of how the French, Spanish, and Dutch all aided the US. Yet more French troops than American troops participated in Cornwallis's surrender at Yorktown.

"I would rather be honest: My autism has not been a neat gift. It has brought crippling anxiety & shame. It has exhausted me to mask. But it has also given me a certain solidarity with those who are fragile, overlooked or fearful." Autistic Catholic deacon Mark Paine:

Autism and Covid infection during pregnancy: Guess what??
The risks of Covid infection in pregnancy unrelated to autism are sufficient to reinforce public health measures and messaging to prevent Covid infection during pregnancy – including vaccination.

@lollardfish.bsky.social The sources I've read say these emails were received three months ago from the Epstein estate in response to a subpoena. Is there something I'm missing?

Moral of this story: Sometimes group mentality doesn't lead to the wrong response.

A list of languages I've taken at the University of Chicago:
Akkadian
Aramaic
Ugaritic
Classical Hebrew
Rabbinic Hebrew
Modern Hebrew
Ancient Greek
German

All of them were important for my work, and I wasn't in any those departments.
This isn’t an impoverished regional school – this is the University of Chicago. Devastating.
