Given Julia’s sources, I suspect that this is a career person who is actually well trained and not authorized to speak publicly, and not an admin political official who will defend the ICE officer no matter what.

Changing the postmark rule is nasty in many ways & stupid but it’s part of Trump manipulating mail-in voting. You bet in Dem areas mail-in ballots will be deliberately delayed from timely postmarking at the USPS sorting machines so they can apply the “Trump postmark” & disenfranchise Dem votes.
