I decided yesterday to take tomorrow off and so glad I did - this week and the week between Xmas and new years are a complete waste of time. So few people in and nobody’s working.

One of our (2) refrigerators is broken and I’m not sure it’ll be fixed by thanksgiving which has led me to wonder how do people with only one fridge make a turkey? They take up so much space.

Tonight I was on FaceTime the entire uber home from the airport and my youngest is the best conversationalist I’ve ever heard. I’m not sure that’s a real word but it conveys my feeling. She’s amazing!

I had about an extra hour and a half which I applied to freestyle testing (based on a test plan) and it resulted in a bug and a need for a new empty state.

I walk past a huge cedar tree on campus several times a day & the smell of it is incomparable. On hot dry days it has a toasty redolence; in the rain it smells lush & alive. Wherever my head is, It seizes my attention like a whisper: “pssssst, Jen, we are alive together in this slice of time”
