LA County civil servant. VP of CAPE, AFL-CIO. Corresponding Secretary, Riverside County Democratic Party. CADEM Delegate AD63. Nasty Woman.
Ah yes, Rep. Jack Kimble of the fighting 54th Congressional District in California.

Except CA has 52 assembly districts (down from 53) and Jack Kimble is one of the best satire accounts you’ll find on Twitter. These days it’s hard to know the difference, for sure. 🤷🏽‍♀️

So, 4/20 on Easter Sunday doesn’t come around all that often. The last time was 11 years ago. I know this because I was in the ICU fighting for my life with a pulmonary embolism. I survived but I’m a lifer on anticoagulants now. Know the signs. It can happen to anyone. #SheIsRisen #HappyEaster

And this is coming from a host who averages almost 40 Million listeners
Joe Rogan explains to his audience why due process is important and quotes Ben Franklin — "it is better 100 guilty persons should escape than that one innocent person should suffer.”

He argues against shipping people to a prison in El Salvador without trial because we think they’re gang members.
April 20, 2025 at 5:08 PM
Even some right wing podcasters and pundits are starting to worry about due process because they know the denial of it could happen to them as natural born, American citizens just as easy as an immigrant “mistaken” for a gang member. Not all conservatives are MAGA, but not all are in power, either.
Van Hollen on Fox News Sunday: "I'm not vouching for the man. I'm vouching for the man's rights. His constitutional rights to due process."

Calling in/out others for the harm they cause, whether or not they realize, is only "division" to those unwilling to reflect on themselves + their actions.
If accountability is never on the table, nothing is ever wrong + no one ever responsible, nothing grows past the artificial ceiling of denial.

By now I hope America sees that @gavinnewsom.bsky.social is a craven hack not fit for national office. He’s barely fit for California office. I can’t wait to get a new Democratic governor in place who’ll fight for working people.
Q: "How do you respond to Governor Newsom?"

Sen. Van Hollen: "I think Americans are tired of elected officials or politicians who are all finger to the wind...Anybody who can't stand up for the Constitution and the right of due process doesn't deserve to lead."

It feels like more than that, it’s packed. There’s not much more open space to stand except in the streets. But I know a lot of people planned to come at the end because it’s L.A. I mean, come on. No one comes for the opening acts, even the big ones.
An estimated 15,000 people are at the Fighting Oligarchy rally with AOC and Bernie Sanders in Los Angeles today.

Amazing!

At the Bernie/AOC Fighting Oligarchy Tour stop at Gloria Molina Grand Park in DTLA. A new artist named Joan Baez just left the stage, I think she’ll go far. This video was from early this morning, a Latino alt rock band from El Monte called the Red Pears.

It has become increasingly clear to me that California Democrats do not have the daily and persistent focus or courage to reject the status quo in order to meet the urgent needs of working Californians. The status quo continues to fall the people. My votes will no longer support it.

I just reposted the @demsofriverside.bsky.social posts from the weekend so you didn’t have to see my shitty Bosworths pics. I didn’t do any Hands Off protests because I worked an extra 20 hrs of OT. But I did make it out to the Riverside Latino Network’s Cesar Chavez Breakfast early Friday morning.👍🏽

This weekend was the biggest day of protest since Trump returned — and Riverside showed up. 💪

Thousands took to Downtown Riverside, joining millions nationwide to say: we won’t let Trump and Elon Musk dismantle democracy.

We’re loud. We’re organized. We’re not backing down. #GoodTrouble
