Ended up watching "Split Second" instead.
Now is it a better film overall than "Arrival", probably not.
But it certainly had better artistic design when it came to its sets and aesthetics

Trying to watch Arrival for a class.
Tbh I don't really like the film's aesthetics. Just feels sorta drab and characterless as a sci-fi film.
The professor also had us already read the short story beforehand so I can't really get into the mystery aspect.

Reading this section explains a lot about the sometimes fuzzy quality or visual glitches.
Sad the masters were in poor condition but am thankful this blu ray was able to be made.

Finished the Mythos arc of Cyborg 009 anime.
Was really good considering it was based off an unfonished arc in the manga. Wish it got more time to shine than just four episodes.

One complaint about The Thing game so far.
The levels feel disconnected. They really need some transition cutscenes of the characters arriving at least.
Like Blake and Co will leave a building, and then after the loading screen theyre already in another building with no explanation

Honestly, love how Great Circle handles Indy as an archeologist/adventurer. Especially with the whole criticism of "stealing cultural artifacts" that get thrown around with those characters.
They just have him go "I'm gonna give this artifact to a local museum owner" like with Dame Nawal in Giza.
