Objectively shitty may have been strong wording. But it is that aspect of her and how Meakashi sticks to that characterization until her final realization that makes it so good.

Ended up watching "Split Second" instead.
Now is it a better film overall than "Arrival", probably not.
But it certainly had better artistic design when it came to its sets and aesthetics

Its silly in the best way possible, and is fun to see them do a bit of a riff on the behind the scenes situation during Six's era.

Loving the "Only the Monstrous" series so far because it sets up the War Doctor so well and how the Time War affects him.
Someone tells him how they are being invaded by a hostile race bent on killing them. And War Doc just prepares to leave. Its a war, but not the ome he's fighting.
