Everyone should have access to what they need to live with dignity. I am very liberal. Grew up in Chicago. I worked in public health. I read constantly, knit and crochet, attend protest rallies, bake stuff, and grow flowers & vegetables.

Fox News credulously reports that "the Saudis now say their investment pledge in the US will be increased to $1 trillion." THE ENTIRE GDP OF SAUDI ARABIA IS $1.1 TRILLION, so this is total nonsense.

The women who were victims of Epstein should not be afraid of these "powerful men." These "powerful men," should be scared shitless..of these victims. Why? Because the victims represent ALL of us, and ALL of us...don't spend so much of 1/100th of a second...fearful. We're f*cking pissed.

Texas appeals ruling that Trump-urged voting map is racial gerrymandering

A federal court in El Paso ruled that the redistricting backed by President Trump and Republicans to reshape the map for the 2026 midterms illegally weakened the voting power of minorities.

Of course it was.

The Justice Department has so far said nothing about how it would respond to that demand. There are many reasons to doubt that a release of the files is imminent.

If Trump wanted Bondi to release the Epstein files, he could have ordered her to do so at any point in the past 6 months. He didn’t.
Despite congressional action, quick release of Epstein files is in doubt
The legislation calling for the release of Justice Department files on Jeffrey Epstein includes major loopholes. The department has been silent on its plans.

Republicans are sick and twisted if they accept this behavior.

Will they do anything about this?
Shame on Rep. Clay Higgins & shame on anyone who thinks this is acceptable.
This man didn’t just cast the lone “no” vote on exposing a global sex-trafficking network… he also grabbed a citizen for daring to ask a question he didn’t like. I hope this young man presses charges.

Truly.

This coming on the heels of the magistrate judge in Comey’s case skewering Halligan & the FBI for illegal and improper handling of the investigation and indictment.
BREAKING: Prosecutors in the Comey case just told the judge that they’re under orders from the Deputy Attorney Generals’s office not to disclose whether career prosecutors wrote a memo recommending *against* indicting Comey prior to Halligan going to the grand jury.
