Got my 2nd boss pattern done (it functions) yesterday and I'm pretty proud of the idea. Three more attacks and it'll be time to draw sprites for my first boss, and brother's OC, Linir.

the thing with art/gamedev/other creative endeavors is that you don't have to do it as a job, my dad and his other middle aged buddies used to play soccer and none of them harbor any fantasy of being athletes, you can just play a little soccer or make a little gamejam project it's good for the soul

Kids are priced out of toys, they are priced out of video games, all they get are games like Roblox and Fortnite designed from the ground up to exploit them.
it's another case of kids being written out of the equation because adults are a bigger and more stable form of income, who cares that the people buying kirby air riders for 100 dollars now could get the original for 15, that's unrelated to MONEY NOW

I've gotten my bullet manager working, enemy manager working, modular enemy, bullet, and pattern implementation -- I think my bullet engine is mostly functional.
I'm *STILL* scripting my first boss, but I had to ensure my enemy manager was up and running before I had patterns that spawned enemies.
