Can’t say I’m not disappointed that Maybe Happy Ending lost the Grammy for Best Musical Theater Album, but everyone was predicting Buena Vista Social Club to win, and that show’s music WAS amazing.

I actually prefer watching the Grammys livestream on YouTube: 1) it’s MOST of the awards, 2) only ads are 5-15 seconds and you can skip some, 3) don’t have to support CBS (and next year they move to ABC anyway) 4) winners can cuss with no bleeps

Yesterday, five-year-old Liam and his dad Adrian were released from Dilley detention center. I picked them up last night and escorted them back to Minnesota this morning.
