There's been ups, there's been downs, but at the end of the day that's a perfect note to end a season on. Best season since 2021. Winning silverware is a habit that we've got out of. I hope this heralds a run of success. But either way I'll enjoy today.

It's been obvious since January 6 that he was an enemy of the USA, the UK & the whole of the free world. Everybody still in his camp understands this as completely as everybody against it. They just prioritise personal interest over the national & international. And they know it. They all know it.

Do you fly in airplanes? Drive on highways? File taxes? Have kids or elderly parents? Go to the doctor? Prefer not to be poisoned by toxic chemicals? Then you rely on the government services that Musk is hobbling. It is tragic that many Americans won’t realize this until those services are killed.

It’s hard to communicate the crisis that’s unfolding and the dangers ahead because a lot of superficial things won’t change. The Netflix will still turn on. Your sports teams will play. You’ll see movies. But the things that make liberal democratic life uniquely stable, secure, & vibrant will decay.

It’s good to stay in shape and eat healthy but you also need to be reading. Get a library card. Find a book that appeals to you. Spend a few minutes reading before bed. Your brain will thank you, and you’ll be pleasantly shocked at the joy that books bring.

After American airspace was closed on 9/11, over 230 flights with 30,000 passengers and crew were diverted to Canadian airports. Transport Canada received thousands of calls from members of the public offering to help the stranded passengers.
