On Oct 31st, I introduced my whole family (husband, 21 yr old daughter, 18 yr old daughter) to the epicness that is the 1987 horror-comedy movie, House.
It never received cult status like a lot of 80s horror movie, but damn, it's still one of my favs.

I'm conflicted in celebrating because once upon a time I would have written both books in one week, but with *waves hands at everything* I think celebrating any achievement is a good thing

This makes me realise how ridiculously expensive home ownership in Australia is. Something like that in Oz would most likely START around $1 mil.
I know I'm a drama queen but calling this 400k dream house a "starter home" makes me sick and I think the realtor should be fined for doing so

Because teenage-me's bedroom was wallpapered with Harrison Ford movie posters, it was therefore also wallpapered in Drew Struzan artwork. And for most of my late teens, I wanted to be a movie poster artist because of him.
