We're being put through this because a good portion of the country were so angry a Black man was elected president, gays could marry, and trans people existed that they decided to elect the worst possible person to destroy the country. The rest were rubes fooled by mis and disinformation.

This is the first time I've left a fury convention downright angry. Great convention overall, but the gross refusal of con ops to enforce their own policy against hate symbols is offensive enough to where I am publicly demanding that @furcon.bsky.social make things right.
So, I have been told by both con ops and flare that an attendee wearing a hat emblazoned with "47" and a Turing point USA symbol is protected by the first amendment and cannot be removed for wearing a hat that can EASILY be argued to be a hate symbol. Thanks for letting the safety for queers erode

I think it's worth pointing out that this plane definitely didn't just get built within the past year. An unmarked 737 made to look like a civilian airliner, with weapons concealed in the fuselage, was only ever meant to do exactly this sort of thing.
The article doesn't describe the plane's civilian-style paint job but links to a Reddit thread with photos.
