I had a views on the blocklists for a few months and I don’t really like them, #blocklists should become #hidelists as I disagree with the idea of people being mislabelled on the list and blocked falsely or moderation should atleast be dealing with false labelling @support.bsky.team

Some people have blocked me here and that’s fine but if we start blocking everyone we mildly disagree with Bluesky could become a echo chamber, I left Twitter because it turned into a far-right echo chamber, I’m not far left or right just someone who values open debate. #myopinions #bluesky

The glasses look neat but I wanted to get some but 1. i don’t trust him to keep the servers up on the glasses as he wants to discontinue the service for meta quest 2 and 1’s, 2. Creeps have started to use them and give the glasses a bad image (even tho there’s legitimately good reasons to get them)
a noticable shift in culture is that when the original google glass released 13 years ago, one kid in my highschool had one and we all bullied him for how weird it was you could take photos with it and he stopped wearing after 1 day. that anti-invasive tech culture is dead with modern social media
New: a $60 mod to Meta's Ray-Ban glasses disables the privacy LED light. This is supposed to light when people are filming with the glasses. We bought the mod, verified it works. Now you can never be sure whether someone wearing Meta Ray-Bans is filming you or not
