Hello, new followers! If we’re newly acquainted, I’m a professional illustrator based in Seattle. I approach all my subjects with a graphic sensibility, emphasizing color and composition to convey the wonder of the natural world.
Sink or scream? Dissociate or drown? The tide of horrors is relentless, and the waves are swirling with microplastics. Do we surrender to the despair or swim through the sludge? What can we save and what do we cut loose in order to keep moving?

For today’s sketch let me present you with Styracosaurus

Styracosaurus lived during the Late Cretaceous in North America. The arrangement of very long, 4-6 spikes protruding from its relatively short frill and long nasal horn is characteristic of this species

January is nobody's favorite month, which is why I selected these stylish sauropods as the first entry in my 2026 calendar. Initially created as a commissioned painting for a local client the previous holiday season, this piece quickly became a favorite addition to my growing library of Paleoart.

New material of Ajkaceratops cements its identity as a ceratopsian, but adds a new wrinkle. It turns out that many european ornithischians previously classified as iguanodontians may actually be ceratopsians! New paper by @tweetisaurus.bsky.social et al., that I provided art for (link in reply).

A cluster of juvenile Pachycephalosaurs shelter from an early spring downpour as the adult members of the clan stand watch against roaming predators. A pair of small pterosaurs attempt to stay dry beneath a fallen log nearby. #fossilfriday #paleoart

These playful otters belong to the menagerie of creatures featured in "My Animal Kingdom," Rebecca Brown's new book published by Frizzlit Press, which will be released on Saturday, Dec 6th at the Sorrento Hotel in Seattle. Edited by @thefrizzler, art directed by the brilliant @corianton.

Ol' Salty, Pirate Saltasaurus. A bit of silliness which became a personal favourite.

Congratulations, we made it to December (somehow)! Have you started the new season of Prehistoric Planet? The final turn of this year's calendar page reveals a majestic wooly mammoth, bracing for the long cold nights of the Ice Age winter. If they can get through it, so can we.

I am excited to reveal the cover of "My Animal Kingdom," a new book by Rebecca Brown that I had the pleasure of illustrating. Published by Frizzlit press, this collection of essays delves into Rebecca's personal encounters with various animals, in both funny and profound ways.

It's Trilobite Tuesday! The Devonian trilobites that emerge from outcrops aligning Bolivia's sky-high Altiplano plateau, like this Belenopyge, rank among the most difficult-to-obtain trilobites in the world—mostly because they're located more than 11,500 ft (3,505 m) up in the Andes Mountains.

The last leaves of autumn glow even brighter to a hungry pair of Therizinosaurus, bulking up for a long winter. These strange dinosaurs are some of my favorites, and though they're slow movers, they made it just in time to be included in my new calendar!
