Very sorry to read that Steve Dee, the author of this book, passed away earlier this year.
I got this for Christmas. It isn't exactly telling me anything I didn't already know, having published a game setting a couple years ago, but it does a good job of putting some things into perspective and making them clearer. It might help me do a better job of presenting that world next time.

I could see myself statting up characters from the Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe for Free League's Invincible RPG. I'd probably just go with the Deluxe Edition/Update '89 era, because to me, those are the "classic" versions of the characters. It's also the era TSR's Marvel RPG covered.

Sometimes I wish I could find some people who were into discussing Free League stuff (including Dragonbane) here, but they're just... not here. Probably mostly on Discord and such.

As an aside, reading Palladium stuff makes me understand what USians feel while reading WFRP. It's like the opposite of whatever a ren fair is!

Google now seems to think that GRIDSHOCK 20XX and the video game 20XX are related and/or the same thing, so I guess I'm definitely taking "20XX" out of the name next time. (I added it in the first place to distinguish the game from a documentary film called Gridshock.)
