We're delighted to see the early diagnosis of lung and oesophageal cancers prioritised as part of the forthcoming National Cancer Plan.

Late diagnosis is a big factor in making these cancers 'less survivable', so it's extremely positive to see this as a focus.

This week, we met with @jennimintomsp.bsky.social, Minister for Public Health and Women's Health, to discuss the key actions needed in Scotland to drive progress for less survivable cancers. It was great to hear the Minister's ongoing support for improving outcomes for these cancers.
