Only 16% of people diagnosed with some of the less survivable cancers survive beyond 5 years. The #RareCancersBill is a unique opportunity to tackle this and more. We are pleased to have supported this Bill throughout its journey and will continue to do so as it progresses.

We thank the Prime Minister for sharing his personal story of supporting his brother through stage four lung cancer. Sharing stories like this helps break the silence and fuels the urgency for action to change the outcomes for people with less survivable cancers.

The Taskforce supports the Rare Cancers Bill. The Bill reaches its 3rd reading in Parliament tomorrow, Friday 12 July and we need at least 40 MPs in Westminster to ensure it progresses.
