I am obliged to report that when the No 10 spokesman gave this part of the statement there was a brief but heartfelt outbreak of laughter from journalists, one of whom later asked if the PM might thus be interested in a bridge he had to sell.

People who have come to the United Kingdom legally, played by the rules and made it their home do not need to “go home”. This is their home.

I've written to Kemi Badenoch to give her the chance to reject these divisive calls from her frontbencher Katie Lam.

A lot of sympathy with this. But I also find @bsky.app suppression of Palestinian accounts & #Genocide coverage pretty hard to tolerate.
It seems to me its crucially important that the UK government and its institutions gets off X as soon as possible, in order to drag the conversation and the media off that platform well in advance of the next election. There is no chance that sticking there will help them cut through. Lost cause.

As I was saying. Plot complete lost. #Trump #America
It is here. McCarthyism 2.0. Wrongthink now gets you on a list that is openly trying to liaison with the government (which has already said it will be doing similar work in the weeks to come). The list referenced below now exceeds 100,000 people. People on the list are already getting death threats.
