When this happened, there was so much panic behind the scenes that never saw the public eye. Many TOs no longer felt safe running their events, knowing that there was intentional harm done to try and attack the SSC, that does all of its volunteer work to help in keeping the scene safer, and TOs.
Worth noting that splatsafety was doxxed and the resulting doxx was circulated as a result of this case. The backlash against splatsafety is conveniently memory holed now but it was intense and quite serious.

AUC (area under curve) is such a weak way to write a formula, just write it as an integral... (I keep getting it confused with a genetic codon)

wasnt planning on getting it anyway, but pretty disappointed by drag x drive, controls are super inconsistent for me and uncomfortable no matter what i tried

i think i can truly say im retired from comp splatoon now - zones only being the catalyst, but several other factors as well
still will play sendouq occasionally, but no more tourneys for me
even in sendouq it’s getting to be such a hassle trying to get a set without zones only, quite annoying

I don't know how common knowledge this is but in 9.3 the dash slash of decavitator was "nerfed" by 2 frames and I think most people including myself assumed this meant its kill time was now 2 frames slower.
However, not only is that not actually true, Decav's charge slash was actually buffed in 9.3
