Other countries: WE HAVE TRAINS!

US cities: "Sorry folks, we tried, but trains don't work here. It's nothing we screwed up in how we ran it or failed to expand it, they simply don't work here."

some people really, really want to believe that Trump is the whole problem, and if Marco Rubio, Pam Bondi and friends invoke the 25th and install President Vance, we'll be able to go back to common-sense bipartisan compromise on those kitchen-table issues

This war is completely illegitimate: 60% of Americans disapprove of going to war with Venezuela—74% disapprove war without Congressional approval. Only 19% are in favor.

The people oppose it. Our representatives didn’t approve it. Trump should be removed for this unconstitutional war.

I’ll never ever believe that Hillary Clinton and Kamala Harris lost their elections and Jack Smith’s damning testimony only helps to cement that for me.

In case you were wondering, Jack Smith's testimony was the *opposite* of "total exoneration."

Yep, and I wonder if Congress still has the powers they’re supposed to. Trump has almost taken away the power of the purse. He shuffles money around as he sees fit. Controls or demolishes agencies they set up. Makes laws by decree.

Turns out people still actually link climate change to stuff happening in their actual lives and care about action being taken on it, despite the now widespread idea that we need to stop mentioning it to be successful

The U.S. government just banned five people from entering the country because it doesn’t like their speech. This ban, according to the State Department, is necessary to protect free speech.

If that sounds insane to you, congratulations on your reading comprehension.

Christmas Eve instant pot chili was a great success. Around 2 hours from prep to meal. The poblanos and Anaheim peppers give it great flavor without too much heat.
