Mighty quick turnaround from the same crowd who, not too long ago was championing feeding the whole Latino population of the US to alligators and less than a decade ago, was crowing, "F*ck Your Feelings" at anyone who disliked Trump, and is now asking why some of us have no empathy for a dead bigot?

I see the "fuck your feelings" crowd are suddenly back to "why are you so mean?"

Both foster babies (cats) are utterly cashed out after half an hour of unfettered chaos/ultraviolence like they just heard Shania Twain command, "Let's go, girls!". The little girl is passed out/melted over on top of a box of fossils, and the boy is stretched out in the comfy cat bed in the playpen.

My wife & I are fostering kittens right now, and between the kitten cuteness, the squeaks, the clumsiness, and just looking over and seeing their little feet twitching while they're dreaming, I'm loving this experience. Cats are so much cuter than human children.

I had a dream last night I was helping organize clandestine, underground meetings for a lesbian resistance movement against the regime, and now that I'm awake, I'm hoping it's not a premonition of things to come. All told, though, we had a pretty cool meeting spot done up in my dream.

Its dumb, I know, but my brain is hyper-focusing on how I want to try out for roller derby next season, despite being 41, not exactly what anyone would deem "athletic", and aside from last weekend, it's been literal years since i was last on skates of any sort. Someone talk me out of this.

Started off Sunday morning strong with coffee, a healthy banana for breakfast, a relaxing shower, a shot of anticistamines, video games, and then a bit of gunsmithing. I'm counting all this as a victory because I did it without breaking a nail, to boot.

I attended my 1st roller derby game yesterday, and OMG, finally finding a sport that didn't bore me to tears is one thing, but the sheer number of lgbtq+ folks in attendance/on the track was euphoria-inducing; I saw so many other trans women just existing with no issues from anybody. F-ing magical.

I just struck me how much HRT has shifted my mindset on certain things. Now, I'm in a body I really want to take care of/nurture instead of dreading. I've started eating better than I have previously, I'm controlling portions, I'm exercising more, and I want to see what it can fully become.

Finally returning after a lengthy battle with mental health/personal issues, and I'm beginning the laborious, Herculean task of trying to recall EVERYONE that I followed so I can flood my feed with all the cool content that I enjoyed prior to deleting my account out of crippling depression.
